About Maria
Ever since she was a little girl, Maria has been fascinated by anything related to beauty.
She started working in the beauty industry in 2011 at some of Ottawa’s well-known spas after completing her studies in Algonquin College’s Esthetics program. At the same time she was working in the wedding industry as a mobile makeup artist for brides and their bridesmaids.
It was in 2016 that she decided to elevate her skills and switched to medical esthetics. Maria started taking courses in laser hair removal, microneedling, IPL, and chemical peels, and worked alongside a doctor in a medial clinic.
She started Beauty by Maria V in 2019 and took her esthetics skills to a new level after taking her lash extension training course at LashGod. Maria now offers a variety of beauty treatments.
